Facilitation

We have recently developed our own Facilitation Skills competency framework to help organisations sharpen their use of facilitation as a client, stakeholder or staff engagement technique.

We provide training in 'Facilitation Tools and Techniques' for staff who need this skill as part of their job.

We also facilitate clients' conferences, seminars and workshops.

 

Facilitation Tools and Techniques course

Our one day 'Facilitation Tools and Techniques' course provides delegates with the skills needed to facilitate their own events and meetings.

As an optional extension to our course, we work with individuals to help them facilitate their own events.  This helps staff to apply and embed their new skills and knowledge, with expert supervision and guidance. 

Our courses are tailored to suit the precise needs of each client organisation and are highly interactive.  Delegates learn to use a wide range of innovative tools and techniques such as:

  • Solutions focus

  • Problem solving

  • Creative thinking

  • Force field analysis

  • Prioritisation

  • Journey mapping

  • Stakeholder mapping

  • SWOT analysis

  • World Café

Conferences, seminars and workshops

We also design and run facilitated events on behalf of client organisations and we provide experienced facilitators for them.

Each event is designed and developed down to the last detail and arrangements are agreed with our client sponsors.

Quality Assurance

We ensure that we get a clear brief about what our clients want and by applying a systematic and structured approach we ensure that we get things right first time.  Afterwards we review the success of our facilitated events with our client sponsors.

Examples

  • Working with local authorities and primary care trusts we have designed, delivered and facilitated conferences and workshops ranging from 20 to 200 delegates.  These have covered subjects such as Targeted Youth Support, integrated working, implementation of the Common Assessment Framework and Lead Professional.

  • We now offer facilitated workshops to help newly formed multi-agency and multi-disciplinary teams in local authority areas to work effectively.

  • We also run our 'Facilitation Tools and Techniques' course for commercial companies who want use innovative ways of engaging their clients.
